I would just like to add that if the Galapagos is a little too expensive for you, off the coast of Manabi in Ecuador, you can go to an Island called La Isla de La Plata. It's called the poor man's Galapagos because it has a lot of the same animals as the Galapagos but it's a lot less touristy and expensive. There is excellent scuba diving there and you can take classes for pretty cheap. Happy travels! Great post.
