How about Samos Airport. You fly in from the south towards the mountin with Turkish airspace to the east. Make a 180 turn before you hit the mountain and drop down sharply for the start of th runway most offen in a fairly stiff cross wind.

Dear Sirs

I am extremely surprised when I saw name of the Kathmandu International airport is mentioned as one of the world Most Dangerous Landing Strips out of 10 in the World. However the photo posted there is not of the Kathmandu International Airport but Lukla Airport, which is on the lap of Mount Everest. Lukla Airport might be a dangerous one, but not Kathmandu. There are many more dangerous strips airports. Kathmandu airport, having 10,000 feets length is capable of hosting big airplanes, like Thai, JAL, Korean and so on. Please make correction.

[...] Years ago, Hong Kong was always an interesting place to land as you flew what seemed tenuously close to buildings. There are also good examples of “spirited” landings around the world. Tegucigalpa, Honduras has one of the more difficult landings but can be thrilling to watch. [...]
