Recreation has always been a source of energy for refreshment but gardens have proved to be the best because. It is the place where you can feel the nature at its closest. Gardens are very necessary  for the growth of any healthy society

Here i have compiled the 10 best gardens in the world. I hope you will like it.

Versailles, France

The 101 hectares are riddled with paths that lead to flower beds, quiet corners decorated with classical statuary, ornamental lakes.

Singapore Botanic Garden

Considered one of the world’s prettiest botanical gardens, the Singapore Botanic Garden was established in 1859. It is on 128 acres. The National Orchid Garden is in center section, atop the park’s highest point, where more than 60,000 colorful orchids bloom.

Descanso Gardens California


A mere 20 minute drive outside of Los Angeles you’ll find a bucolic paradise with more than 100,000 plants and one of the world’s largest collections of camellias. The gardens and woods of Descanso unfold over 65 hectares of the San Rafael Hills

Butchart Gardens, British Columbia


The Butchart Gardens are a dazzling example of a successful reclamation project. It is spread to 22 hectare tract filled with 700 varieties of plants that bloom from March to October.

Villa D’Este, Italy


Villa d’ Estewas is embellished by one of the most fascinating garden and fountain complexes in the world. It has the Avenue of the Hundred Fountains, where animal heads, lilies, a small boat, basins, and so on all spurt water.

Dumbarton Oaks, Washington, D.C


You might feel as though you’ve stepped into a Merchant-Ivory set in any of the gardens that make up this estate at the north end of Georgetown, one of Washington’s nicest neighborhoods.

Villa Ephrussa de Rothschild, France

Sans Souci Potsdam, Germany


Frederick the Great of Prussia built this splendid rococo palace as his summer place, where he could live without a care, sans souci. Busts of Roman emperors, decorative statues, and a Chinese tea house dot the lavish grounds.

  • The Japan Gardens were extraordinary... It was the best gardens I've seen in a decade. gee i wish my garden was on here. im going to go water the garden now i will be back later. i love u gardens :)

    I loved some of the gardens in Japan, but Peter the Great's gardens outside St. Petersburg is comparable to Versailles and better than many on this list. The fountain mechanics alone would make it great. I wonder how much research you did for this article.

  • The gardens on the island of Capri are the most beautiful. There is also the desert gardens in Tucson, Az.
